Advanced Seminar of Judgment Writing for Appellate Judges (2027 Edition)

OVERVIEW
This two-day program is designed for appellate judges and focuses on strengthening their skills in drafting clear, coherent, and audience-appropriate appellate reasons, particularly in complex cases or those involving multiple issues on appeal.
You will develop advanced tools to:
- distill complex appeals into clear and focused issues;
- write for multiple audiences (trial judges, lawyers, public, Supreme Court);
- articulate standards of review with precision;
- strengthen structure, paragraphs, and sentence-level clarity;
- edite efficiently under time pressure;
- manage multi-judge authorship (lead judgments, concurrences, dissents);
- enhance consistency, collegiality, and voice in appellate writing.
An essential program for producing rigorous and accessible appellate reasons.
Bilingual program with simultaneous interpretation.
