About CIAJ Online Brochure (PDF)
Through participation of its members, CIAJ fosters excellence and leadership in the administration of justice and helps preserve a strong and independent judiciary. Individual members active in their profession receive a preferred rate on training programs in addition to other benefits.

Categories and registration forms (please use the same form to join or renew)
Individual member – $200
Individual members active in their profession can access webinars free of charge or at a preferred rate. They also receive a preferred rate on online and in-person training programs. They also have free access to our This membership fee is recoverable by federally-appointed judges under S. 27(1) of the Judges Act. Provincial and territorial judges, other judicial officers and board and tribunal members may be entitled to reimbursement through judicial or other professional allowances.
Duration: 1 year (from the date of registration)
Young Lawyer – $125
Young Lawyers (five years or less) have the same benefits as individual members.
Duration: 1 year (from the date of registration)
Retired Person – $90
Members retired from their profession have the same benefits as individual members.
Duration: 1 year (from the date of registration)
Student – $15
Members enrolled as full-time students have the same benefits as individual members.
Duration: 1 year (from the date of registration)
Institutional membership (variable fee)
CIAJ offers institutional memberships for corporations, law firms, government entities, administrative agencies, faculties and similar organizations. An institutional member may designate individuals within the organization to attend CIAJ activities at preferential member rates. Each person on the list of institutional members will receive the same benefits as individual members. The fees for institutional memberships according to the number of their legal staff are set out in the following table:

Contributor
As an alternative to annual membership dues, you may choose to become a contributor. You will be issued a tax receipt for a charitable donation. (Reg. #10686 1529 RR 0001). This option is available on the Membership Form.
