Montréal, December 13, 2017 – The Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice (CIAJ) welcomes the appointment of the Honourable Richard Wagner as new Chief Justice of Canada.
CIAJ Executive Director, Ms. Christine O’Doherty, and President Mr. Patrick A. Molinari, Ad. E. FRSC, congratulate him on this important appointment and wish him continued success. They also highlight that the appointment maintains the tradition of alternating between jurists trained in common law and civil law.
